In What Remains Is All I See, Kalpesh Lathigra gathers photographs made over many years into a sequence where places, people and memories drift into one another.

Friends and strangers; actors and family; East London, Bombay, Florence and Ukraine occupy the same visual register. Outtakes from commissions, images previously disregarded, are revaluated. Fleeting moments are given new meaning. Frustrations with photography come and go. These photographs are not what is remembered, what is known or what has been lost. They are fragments left after time has done its work. Meaning emerges from accumulation and quiet conversations between pages.

Lathigra embraces the disorder of lived experience in What Remains Is All I See and meditates on attention, memory and our fleeting existences. Through unexpected rhythms and sequences, disorder accumulates slowly.
